Terms of service
Last updated: 22 October 2026
These terms govern the use of tradeintel.eu ("the site") and of the EU Trade Intel services described on it ("the service"), operated by the site owner as a private individual established in the European Union ("we", "us"). By using the site or ordering a service you accept these terms.
1. What the service is
EU Trade Intel turns public Eurostat Comext trade statistics into dashboards, alerts, digests and reports for commercial use. The service is offered to businesses and professionals. We are an independent service and are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of Eurostat or the European Commission. Eurostat data is reused under Eurostat's reuse policy; our analysis, presentation and derived indicators are our own work.
2. Free sample and orders
A free sample report is sent at our discretion, normally within two working days, for one product and one EU market of your choice. Paid plans and reports are ordered by email after the sample; an order becomes binding when we confirm it in writing. Prices shown on the site exclude VAT. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time and end at the close of the paid month. Founding subscribers keep their price for 12 months from the first payment. A subscription cancelled within 14 days of the first payment is refunded in full.
3. Nature of the information
All content is provided for information and analysis only. It is based on official statistics as published on the dates stated, which Eurostat may revise later, and on calculations that involve assumptions explained in each report. It is not customs, legal, tax or investment advice, and it is not an offer to buy or sell any goods. You remain responsible for verifying duties, quotas, trade-defence measures and product classification before any transaction, and for your own commercial decisions.
4. Use of the content
You may use dashboards, digests and reports inside your own organisation and in your own decision-making. You may not resell, republish or redistribute them to third parties, scrape the service, or share your login with people outside your organisation beyond the seats included in your plan. Short quotations with attribution to EU Trade Intel and Eurostat are welcome.
5. Availability and liability
We aim to deliver digests within 48 hours of Eurostat's monthly release and to keep the dashboard available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the data is free of errors or omissions, including errors in the underlying statistics. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profit or lost trades.
6. Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.
7. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version, and continued use after a change means acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the EU member state in which the operator is established, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply to you. Disputes are submitted to the courts of that state.
